In order to test the quality of the chest binder, Jo Wei had to worn the same chest binder for a month. As long as she felt uncomfortable, the chest binder’s design would be back to square one.

 
In order to create the high-quality chest binders, she visited many counties and cities across Taiwan constantly, trying to find the most practical fabric shop and the honest garment factory.

Jo Wei, T-STUDIO 's founder, who is also a lesbian and designer. She cares about the material of clothes, insists in the quality of fabrics. From the threads she uses to the fabrics she chooses, she insists on the tightest stitches she can make on every seam.

After quitting her job from a cloth brand that was marked “Made in Taiwan” and yet it was actually “Made in China”. She is furious about the unethical behavior they did. She vowed to design and manufacture in “high-quality” fabrics.

Started from a tiny studio, carrying her own designs and patterning all by herself, reading and researching all she could about chest binders to figure out how to make a better one. She wants to produce a kind of underwear that is comfortable as well as healthy underwear for Tomboys.

Jo Wei and her mother who is a tailor, they work together to design binders for lesbian women.

Since the first T-STUDIO chest binder made its debut, they are highly recognized by their friends.

However, they did not settle for this success; they keep trying to improve the chest binder and gradually gained a good reputation by word of mouth.

T-STUDIO was established in 2002. R&D is the heartbeat of T-STUDIO. Jo Wei is dedicated and passionate to design the best comfortable binder according to different demands. To offer them an experience that reflects their identities, their bodies, and their values.
